Campfire 2013
Flying Horse Farms
Outsider created three program videos for the Flying Horse Farms Campfire event in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Need: Introduce Flying Horse Farms to those unfamiliar with the organization, honor the work of Paul Newman and define his relationship to Flying Horse Farms, and show how much this camp means to not just campers and their families, but the entire Cleveland community.
The Strategy: Three different videos that engage a large audience with information about the camp and establish a strong emotional connection between Flying Horse Farms and the city of Cleveland.
The Solution: Campfire 2013 features donors, staff members, and camper parents discussing the basics of the organization, the impact it has on the community, how this camp is related to Paul Newman, and the benefits of supporting Flying Horse Farms. Welcome Home is a six-minute documentary style presentation which examines the year round impact Flying Horse Farms has on a family in Cleveland whose daughter attends camp. Dear Paul is a heartfelt “thank you” letter read to Paul Newman to honor his vision and generosity for starting these types of camps many years ago. All three videos were featured at the event and played an important role in the fundraising efforts. The videos will continue to be used throughout the year to help gain support and show the impact this camp has on the entire community.
