Spring Break in Thailand

The North vs The South, of Thailand. Both videos are for The Education Abroad Network, and both show totally different sides of this amazing country. Zack Galifianakis on filming The Hangover 2 in Thailand, ” I don’t really want to go back because I find that I might be bored when I go back to the United States. This is, like, the most un-boring place. I just love it.” We love Thailand too.

Mount Carmel music video “Still Listening”

Mount Carmel is an supremely talented up and coming band from Columbus, Ohio. They allowed Brian to bring a camera into their first ever studio recording session. The video was shot with one camera mostly hand held throughout the day as Mount Carmel recorded their demo at the legendary Musicol Studio. The footage was edited to their song “Still Listening”, and later used to produce a promotional piece for Mount Carmel leading up to their 2010 SXSW showcase.

We laid down a few shots from our trip to Asia to a song by the band Say Hi. The purpose of our trip was to shoot promotional videos for a study abroad program. This video was made so we could send something out to the friends we met on the trip, since the final videos will not be finished for a few months.

Specs: 2 Panasonic HMC 150′s – No color correction – Some shots were shot with a Redrock Lens Adapter with a Nikon mount (50mm 1.2) 720p 24p

A collection of shots edited together for fun and as a memento of Brian Polk’s trip to Sydney Australia in the summer of 2010. Video edited to music by Perth, Australia’s own Tame Impala. Brian was shooting study abroad promotional videos for one of our client’s in Australia and New Zealand. New Zealand fun video coming soon.
